I'm in need of a kick-ass Angus Young pic right now.

Why? 'Cause this is a Type AC/DC post, bitches. Woo! ^o^

Yep, I'm cramming a lot of stuff onto this post for two reasons. One: I haven't updated in a LONG time. Two: THIS IS MY 50TH ALL-TIME BLOG POST MOFOS! ^O^

First I'll satisfy Type A. As you can see, I have decided to give in and start buying Naruto manga in order to make the wait for LIFE Volume 5 easier and until B&N.com has copies of Lunar Legend Tsukihime Volume 4. Thanks to my mom's new apparent obsession over Harry Potter books (in Spanish of course), and thanks to a fairly long period of not buying new manga, I was able to get the first seven volumes of the Naruto manga in about a two-week period. Good stuff. ^_^

Once I'm caught up to Naruto's anime storyline in the manga I'll stop getting new books. Why? 'Cause I want to see the anime version first, then the manga version. :D After which I'll try to find that elusive seventh volume of Dr. Slump. >:D

Okay, now for a bit of Type D stuff. The biggest reason I took so long in getting this post posted is because I had literally NO MOTIVATION in getting done what needed to get done in order to have something awesome posted for my 50th all-time post. I had originally made a song for this post, but the converted WAV file ended up being way too crappy in quality which might've been the result of a slow computer but it also MIGHT mean that I have to start searching for new ModPlug Tracker-compatible samples (if there is such a thing). Unfortunately, I don't know where to start searching. T_T

Also, my YouTube video has 1000+ views now, which means it's time to make a new one (which was originally going to be posted here or at the House of Media). Unfortunately, my computer is WAY too slow now, so that probably won't happen anytime soon. T_T

Another idea was to make a new A-Log, but using Audacity instead of Sound Recorder. Unfortunately, that means I have to install Audacity (I downloaded it quite some time ago), and if I do, my computer will end up being slower still (which is NOT good). So that's out of the question.

Basically, my computer is now too slow to do much of anything anymore. More memory, although being the best solution, is DEFINITELY not an option because it's just WAY TOO FUCKING EXPENSIVE. (almost 200 bucks? love to, but we can't afford that) Unfortunately, the only other option I have is to re-install Windows XP, and luckily I have the external hard drive necessary for backing everything up. The problem? I don't want to do it. And who would?

I could very easily turn this into a Type B shitfest because of my constant computer problems (which apparently can't be fixed by means of virus scans, spyware scans, or defragmenting), but I don't think anyone gives a shit about how I possibly killed my computer. So I'll go on.

Since in all reality I have nothing useful to put here (nor will I ever have anything useful to put ANYWHERE), I'll just end this post with some pathetic Type C-related stuff I typed yesterday night. Sorry to have let everyone down on the contents of this post (and by "everyone" I mean all one of you who ever reads this without me constantly forcing you to). T_T

Okay, so here's the best explanation of Spike Racers I could think of. I'm extremely horrible at explaining stuff though, so please keep that in mind while reading this. ^_^;;

In the far future (I'd say a couple of centuries or so), Spike Racing is the sport that's gaining popularity throughout the galaxy. Powerful anti-gravity machines designed around a conical shape (whether it's a literal or implied conical shape doesn't matter) race on various tracks in speeds averaging about 1200 MPH. In fact, the only obstacles preventing the machines from going any faster are track designs and the individual pilot's response time (all machines are equipped with g-force limiters so that pilots can go to higher speeds without risking their bodies ... too much). Spike Racing is dangerous though, as part of the sport involves using your own machine to attack your opponents - although thankfully no one has ever been killed and serious injuries are extremely rare (in fact, only once has a serious racing injury ever forced a pilot into retirement).

The professional league is soon starting its 22nd season, and the various pilots participating are getting ready to compete. However, news springs up of a new racer in the amateur league winning races like if they were kid's games. Who is this mysterious pilot known only as V? And why hasn't anyone seen the figure inside the cockpit (or even the cockpit opened)?

Nice Haanstrasser (first name pronounced like the French city) is the reigning champion of the professional league and leader of the controversial Team Euro. A tall figure built like a statue but widely known to be highly egotistical, he aims to get his sixth championship win this season in order to tie the record held by the legendary Sam Dragon and the co-creator of Spike Racing himself Mil Naika. Unfortunately, although he is highly unpopular, he was the most likely person to win the upcoming season. WAS, as the news of V changed that. What will Nice do in order to make sure he wins the championship?

The upcoming season will be a good one, with pilots ranging from Venusian gang members, to the wannabe-surfer known only as "El Dude" and his more serious teammate who really is an ex-surfer, to siamese twin robots joined at the back (one carries the other like a big backpack), to even a member of NASA! (yes, they still exist - and although they're a bit more secretive now, they're mostly unchanged)

Character Checklist

- Comedy relief? Check - well, hopefully. ^^;;

- Ruthless psychopaths? Well, they're by no means psychopaths, but check in the form of Team Venus. And with names like Grim "Reaper" Targus and Sial "The Masochist", they're definitely ruthless. >:)

- Ultra-shy, dark-haired girl? Check, but with a twist - she's blonde-haired. :O Betcha never saw that coming, huh? :P

- Weird as hell but oddly cute and strangely kick-ass ... thing? Check, although NicNac and his teammates prefer to speak in Portuguese. O_o

- Aggressive tough-girl? Check, although Mindy could probably fit in the "ruthless psychopath" section as well. There's a good reason why they call her "Sting" Massa, you know? ^_^ Oh, and she's actually British. :O

- Tough old fogey? Well, if you call him an old fogey he'll cut your balls off, but check in the form of Count Igni [IG-nee], the leader of Team Venus. See how tough he is, just from him being the leader of Team Venus? >:)

- Gentle giant? Check in the form of Team NASA's Magna Gin.

- Not-so-gentle giant? Check in the form of "Goliath" Samuelsson. And compared to Magna Gin, this guy's fucking HUGE.

- Absolute badass? Check, but he won't appear until MUCH later. T_T So until then, you can be the judge on who the badass is. (I'm guessing maybe Grim Targus?)

Okay okay, I should probably stop before I start naming everybody. ^^;;

The most likely format that this story could be in would be a webcomic of sorts. The BEST format that the story could be in (in other words, the format that would tell the story the best) would be a full-fledged animation. Since I can't draw worth crap (yet), it's gonna be a couple of decades before the story comes to fruition. Fear not though, as I continually work on the characters and plot details day by day, so hopefully I'll have a very good idea on character designs before I become good enough to draw them.

And if you're REALLY starved on more info, let me know and I'll do the best I can to provide some. Alternatively, you can go here and follow the links to the various songs that inspired the various events of the Spike Racers saga (heehee, "saga" - I've never used that word to describe Spike Racers), or here in order to learn the history of my development of Spike Racers.

Please contact me if you have any questions and I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability (which sadly may or may not be good enough).
